Rusty's TJ Rocker Armor is the next generation of superior rocker protection! While our original design remains popular, several customers requested a tubular bar / step combo, so we delivered! No matter what your taste, Rusty's has you covered!
Our latest generation TJ Rocker Armor offers full-length protection and incorporates a handy tubular step that eases vehicle entry and egress, plus adds an extra layer of body protection from trees! They feature over 10 inches of total body protection, they offer 6.25 inches of body sheet metal protection and 3.75 of protection under the flares and body tub, which is a Rusty’s exclusive! Now you can climb over rocks and stumps and just slide down the rockers without having to worry about trail damage!
Rusty's TJ Rocker Armor starts with 3/16" thick laser-cut pickled and oiled steel that is then CNC formed for an exact fit. A nearly full-length bar is then added (shortened only to clear the fender flares) that is 2" x 0.120-wall DOM tubing. A dimple-died step is conveniently located under to door to act as a step that makes it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. In addition to acting as a step, the bar offers extra protection from trees, rocks, and boulders. Six stainless steel button head bolts attach the Armor to the factory rockers, while eight flush-mounted Riv-nuts secure the Armor to the bottom of the jeep tub. This design ensures nothing is going to be damaged by dragging the underside of the rockers against rocks and other obstacles. Last but certainly not least, Rusty's TJ Rocker Armor is e-coated and then powder coated gloss black for clean looks and durability. Only Rusty's combines the look you want with the protection you demand!
